Hi Everyone! Welcome back to Six
Sentence Sunday (SSS)!
Last week, our hero tried unsuccessfully
to keep Jillian away. He’d almost succeeded until his turquoise eyes met hers
and her fear melted away…
She
didn’t want to leave him.
“You’re
hurt, let’s get you inside and call for help.” As if soothing a wounded animal,
she’d lowered her voice and tried to keep it level and calm.
“I’ll
be okay, I just need a minute.” He’d lowered his voice as well and his eyes roamed
her face. One side of his mouth turned up in a smile as his eyes met hers again.
